Our World Renowned Content Creators

The Purple Turtle writing team has many years of experience developing and writing award-winning children’s animation.

Carter Crocker has written and story edited for several animation studios including Disney and Warner Brothers and has won two Emmys for his work. He has written two Young Adult novels for Penguin-Putnam, and is currently working on a YA historical novel.

Dev Ross is an Emmy and Humanitas winner. Her preschool writing credits include Winnie the Pooh, Rainbow Ruby, Little People, Jakers!, Chloe’s Closet, Clifford the Big Red Dog, and Clifford’s Puppy Days. Dev has also written numerous books for the award winning “We Both Read” children’s’ book series.

Karl Geurs is a two-time Emmy winning writer, story editor, producer and director. His preschool animation writing credits include Disney’s Winnie the Pooh, American Greetings’ Strawberry Shortcake, Mattel’s Little People and Hasbro’s My Little Pony.

Suvarna Bhajanka has written more than fifteen books for children. Her words have been wandering through various writing genres including television, magazines, blogs and books. She calls herself a bookworm, who is passionate about writing educational as well as story books for children.

Lucas Remmerswaal: New Zealand based author and father of six children, Lucas Remmerswaal is on a mission to empower 100 Million kids with the habits that lead to financial literacy. The 13 Habits that made Billions series of books are inspired by Billionaire Warren Buffett.

Dennys McCoy and Pamela Hickey have written, produced and developed over a thousand programs in animation, live-action TV and film. They are five-time nominees for the Emmy Award (one win), two-time BAFTA winners, and two-time winners of the Pulcinella Award (Cartoons by the Bay, Italy).

Gail Ellen Skroback Hennessey taught social studies at Harpursville Central School in New York State for 33 years. She writes often for children’s publications and is the author of six books for teachers and students. In 1988, she was named “Outstanding Elementary Social Studies Classroom Teacher of the Year” from the New York State Council for Social Studies.

Swati Rajoria is the Creative Director of multiple Intellectual Properties like Purple Turtle and Colour Fairies. She is also the CEO of Purple Turtle Pre-schools and has to her credit more than 150 books.

Sangeeta Magan has over 25 years of experience in training, development & administration, in the corporate sector and the academic sector at different levels. She has planned, developed and delivered training to teachers at various schools throughout India including many Defence Schools.

Benita Sen: A journalist & children’s author, Benita Sen has written dozens of books for (fiction and non-fiction) for children and young people. These have been published by Children Book Trust, Scholastic and Teri Press etc. She has been invited by the Department of Communal Harmony, Government of India, to contribute to a compilation. Her stories for children have also appeared in Women’s Era, Chatterbox, Target, and Reader’s Bulletin.
